You stopped me, asked if we'd met and since we hadn't you introduced
yourself. I, like a moron, operated the conversation like a technical
hurdle in my day and then shut it down. I walked half a block and realized
that you were genuinely being friendly and I had been a genuine idiot. You
seemed nice and had a great smile. You were breaking the big city
stereotype. I was unconsciously re-enforcing it. So, pardon me for being
closed off and detached, your small gesture gave me a lot to think on. Oh
and by the way you've got a really cool bike.
