It is a weekend of fests! Here's your guide to one of the coolest weekends to call yourself a Spokanite.

ELKFEST! Rain, shine, hail, sleet, plague of frogs — Elkfest marches on. Tomorrow, Blood Hot Beat starts things off at 2 pm, La Cha Cha at 4 pm, Real Life Rockaz at 6 pm and Son Dulce at 8 pm. And Sunday: Whiskey Dick Mountain plays at 1 pm, then the White Buffalo at 3 pm, Space Opera 77 at 4:30 pm, Mt. St. Helen's Vietnam Band at 6 pm and James Pants rocks a DJ set to close the whole thing down at 8 pm. Free. Awesome. Be there. (Search Elkfest listings.)

He performs with Jaeda, Freetime Synthetic and DJ Stone Tobey. Tomorrow: Check out the "harsh psychedelics" of Xrin Arms, along with Limbs, Belt of Vapor, Please Draw in Me, Team Growl and DJ Likes Girls. Tickets are $8. 21 . More here.

NUGESTOCK! The Seaside holds its own little fest. Tonight Seven Cycles, Oceans of Red, Subvert, Abrupt Edge and Hinge play. Here's hoping this goddamn rain lets up...
