Homelessness

A poem about how Spokane deals with problems of homelessness: Now we've
decided that it is best to make a stop of loitering, begging folks around.
We now have passed our laws and even found, broadcasting squeals will drive
the thugs away. It's for the best! Thugs younger than our kids, prowl on
our streets and deal and beg for food. We must protect our own and do
what's good, for them. And as for you, in your ragged threads, we give our
no. We won't give, won't hear, won't look. We'll push you aside, or better
yet, we'll sweep you out or under the rug and get, you filthy people out.
Now without fear, our happy family can rest assured that we, take care of
what is most important here.
