It's unfortunate, but you really do need to let it fly. A lot of people are genuinely scared that they will get lung cancer because they are 10 feet away from someone smoking a vapor cigarette. Even though that is completely false, you should still respect them as fellow human beings & smoke 26 feet away from a door, as the nicotine tastes the same regardless of your location.
