WWDRD?

What Will Dino Rossi Do? That question dogs local, state and national political conversations as of late.

Just take a look at a recent post by Felicia Sonmez on Washington Post's "The Fix," a blog maintained by political reporter, Chris Cillizza.

Now that Gov. Chris Gregoire has been named as a potential replacement for Solicitor General Elena Kagan (who's been nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court), Sonmez asks, could Rossi possibly want to try again for the governor's mansion? Third time's a charm, as they say. Or, will Rossi keep hemming and hawing about taking on Democratic U.S. Sen. Patty Murray?

We might never know. Rossi has been coy and non-committal about almost everything. "I could run for governor again, Senate, or nothing at all, and I'm comfortable with all three," Sonmez quotes Rossi as saying.

Sonmez, who reports from the wrong Washington, gives a pretty comprehensive one-over of the political state of the right Washington, and name-drops Lt. Gov. Brad Owen, Attorney General Rob McKenna, Democratic Reps. Jay Inslee and Adam Smith, Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon and our very own state Sen. Lisa Brown.
