The Wenatchee World reports that Tyler Farrar, who finished 134th in today's brutally cobbled stage from Belgium into northern France, took it easy today, nursing a banged-up left arm. He told the Versus network that he could barely pull on the handlebars with his left hand — meaning he probably won't be in the scrum for what should be a sprint finish in tomorrow's stage.
“I don’t think I’ll challenge much in the next few days," he said. "But if I can
get through the next few days and take the pain, then maybe it’s going
to get better.”
