Things in this town aren't usually hits right out of the gate — arena football franchises excluded. SPOKANE'S TOP MODEL, though, in its inaugural year last year, was every bit a hit. People lined up, the place packed out and, once the counters read 1,400, marketing director Kris Kilduff says, they had to turn people away.
This year the location is the same and the production values are turned up — a 32-foot runway, full video crew, a panel of judges flown in from Seattle Fashion Week — and, as before, not just 40 models but eight boutiques and eight salons all competing for status as Spokane's Top.
So if you're interested in going, expect a repeat sellout. Catch the fashion event Saturday, April 14 at the Knitting Factory. Red carpet at 6 pm, show at 7 pm. Tickets: $15; $50 VIP.
