Part of my trip to the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgzystan, was to use some of the different media tools I had at my disposal. One of the tools was Instagram, which I used to quickly give a view of life on the base, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at my week. Some of these photos were selected for the photo essay in this week's print issue.
