A week out from St. Patrick's Day seems like a fine day to start getting warmed up for those festivities. You don't want that green beer to be too much of a shock to the system. So scroll your way through out event listings and Staff Picks and see what's going down around town.

WORDS | Humanities Washington brings its Think & Drink series back to Lindaman's in Spokane Tuesday night for a discussion on Race and Diversity in Sports, hosted by writer Shann Ray. Enjoy a beverage and a bite and chat with Bob Bartlett from EWU.

LIVE BANDS | The excellent indie duo The Dodos headline a gig at The Bartlett Tuesday night.
