You did it! You survived another Christmas, and you hopefully have a few days off to goof around with friends and family before the new year arrives. Here are some highlights from our event listings and Staff Picks for the week ahead:

Tuesday, Dec. 26

COMMUNITY | Go check out the life-size gingerbread house at Hotel RL before it goes away. We wrote a story about thing, and it's pretty amazing.

Wednesday, Dec. 27

THEATER | Extend your Christmas fun a bit with the incredible aerial artistry on display with Cirque Dreams Holidaze, tonight and Thursday at the INB.

MUSIC | The Holy Broke headlines a show at The Bartlett, joined by Hollywood Bedsheets for what should be a great night of local tunes.

Thursday, Dec. 28

COMEDY | Standup standout Andy Woodhull kicks off a run of shows at Spokane Comedy Club tonight. Here's a little sample of his style:


Friday, Dec. 29

THEATER | The Garland Theater is hosting a Repeal Day Holiday Party, and in addition to delicious beverages and vintage costumes, you get a live burlesque show from The Vaude Villains at 10 pm.

MUSIC | Luxuriate in the electronic pop of Haunted Summer at The Observatory tonight, when they'll be joined by Newman and Pop Goddess Athena for the show.

Saturday, Dec. 30

SPORTS | The Spokane Chiefs host the Tri-Cities Americans in a showdown at Spokane Arena tonight. Fun (and possibly some bloodshed) for the whole family!

MUSIC | Super Sparkle delivers the first of two year-end celebrations tonight at The Bartlett, so get ready to get groovy. Twice.  Here's a sample in case you're unfamiliar:
