ADA 25th Anniversary Celebration & Film Screening

In the 1930s, the Nazis implemented a program in which 300,000 people with disabilities were murdered. "Menschen" depicts a German officer who befriends a boy with Down syndrome and in doing so calls into question his loyalty. The film is an opportunity to explore the societal attitudes that marginalize people with developmental disabilities. Also includes a post-film discussion.
