Re: “Dance Off

sounds to me like the kids at Simply Dance dont like anyplace with rules. I have danced in studios from the east coast to the west coast for about 15 years. I am in the Air Force, so I get the chance to travel and check out the dance scene.

I have been to both studios mentioned. Spokane Dance Company is a very professional dance studio with very high quality dance instructors. The "non frat" rules are the same in any professional dance studio in the world. These kids at Simply Dance aren´t old enough to understand that there are very important reasons for those rules. It keeps dance instructors from taking advantage of their students by getting them emotionally hooked and then plying them for money, sex or other personal desires.

By the sounds of the comments on here, I would guess that the instructors and students at simply dance might want to concentrate on learning to dance instead of slandering other teachers. I have read many things in these comments that I know from my lessons at Spokane Dance, are not true. If I were one of those people writing those comments - I would be wondering if the instructor they are slandering had an attorney and how much they were about to get sued for. Especially the one from the guy who said he worked for Simply Dance. He just might get Simply Dance involved in a lawsuit. Just food for thought.
