Films at The Fox: City Lights

When: Sat., Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m. 2016
Price: $15-$30
Charlie Chaplin’s classic City Lights is getting a special treatment thanks to a collaboration between the Spokane Symphony and Spokane International Film Festival. The 1931 movie is full of Chaplin’s familiar themes and tricks — romance, class differences, acrobatic comedy — as his tramp character pursues a blind flower vendor. With the Spokane Symphony providing a live score (composed by Chaplin!) to what Roger Ebert considers the movie that comes “closest to representing all the different notes of his genius,” this should be a memorable night.

Sat, Feb. 6, at 7:30 pm • $15/$30 • Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox • 1001 W. Sprague • • 624-1200
