Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes isn’t one of those MCs who talks a big game about being hard but hasn’t lived that life. The 31-year-old has done two stints in prison totaling nearly 10 years for robbery and illegal firearm possession. But he’s making the most of his time now that he’s out of the slammer. He’s blown up thanks to his deep voice that hits with the aggressive force of a Mike Tyson body blow on tracks like “Back End” and “Nobody.” His hard-edged flow isn’t for those who like their hip-hop to be a bit more sugar-coated, but Finesse2Tymes doesn’t front.
