Heartbreaker's Bash

Booze-free parties may seem like the hottest new trend, but it’s much deeper than that. After a successful debut last month, Diversion Events’ follow-up is the Heartbreaker’s Bash featuring music from DJ Donuts, craft mocktails (tickets include one drink), a photobooth and the chance to mingle with like-minded locals in a fun, party atmosphere. Diversion’s parties aren’t just for sober people, though. As co-founder Christine Burns — who doesn’t completely refrain from alcohol herself — writes on Instagram: “Sobriety does not have to be a binary where you either drink or never drink. It can be a spectrum.” She goes on to acknowledge people who may choose not to drink at certain times, and for a wide variety of reasons. Whatever’s in your glass, let’s all say “cheers” to that!
