    Unwanted Journeys

    An exhibit of poetry and personal narratives by refugees and mixed-media sculptures and drawings of refugees created by artist Ildikó Kalapács. The physical journey from home to possible safety and the journey of rebuilding one’s life in a new place are both experiences of refugees who have been forced to flee their countries because of persecution, war or violence.     Swanky Swine Showdown

    Decorate a piggy bank to make it uniquely yours, and learn about deciding when to spend, give away and save your hard-earned money with a “Spend or Save” activity. Decorated banks are displayed for a week in the library for voting, and after votes are collected, you can take it home. All ages. Kids 8 and under must bring an adult. 509-893-8350
