A family story hour commemorative the survivors and victims of the U.S. atomic bombing of Japan. The book by Eleanor Coerr is a brief version of the story of Sadako Sasaki , who survived the bombing of Hiroshima as an infant, but contracted leukemia from the blast and died at the age of 12, in 1955.
