Slayer dropped by the Spokane Arena Sunday night as part of the band's farewell tour, bringing Primus, Ministry and former Pantera frontman Phil Anselmo along for the ride.
The thrash-metal pioneers with a considerably darker edge than "Big Four" peers Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax did not disappoint, whipping through 20 songs ranging from new-ish show opener "Repentless" to classic "Angel of Death" to close it down. Between, there were fire bombs, mosh pits and much appreciation from the crowd for Slayer's four decades of rock.
