The History of the Bartlett

When it was announced that the Bartlett was closing its doors, just about everyone in the music scene started reflecting on their favorite concerts in the cozy all-ages venue. Since opening in late 2013, it became a haven for indie music in downtown Spokane, with owners Karli and Caleb Ingersoll bringing a diverse array of artists to town.

“We care about this scene,” co-owner Karli Ingersoll told the Inlander back when the Bartlett was set to open. “We come into this business with a musician’s perspective.”

As the Bartlett prepares for its final show on Friday night, we're sorting through our own photos of the place's short but busy six-year history.
