I am writing to say how thankful I am to live in the city of Spokane. We don't know how much we are cared for until there is an emergency. Mike Dawson & the crew who responded to my 911 call Sat. morning, July 10th at 8 am, when my mom was in a critical situation, could not have done a better job. Thank you to all of you who showed professionalism, compassion, respect & dignity to my Mom, my husband and I. You have a tough job, and we all are very fortunate to live in such a caring city. Thank you Spokane Firefighters, & EMTs. You have done yourself proud! Marnie Broughton

Go change some lives in St. Louis. You've certainly changed mine. I can't wait to hear your inspirational teacher stories, but you know I'll miss you every day. Saving you a seat at Cafe Marron. Love. -A

Cheers to my wonderful waitress at O'Doherty's. I was going to write a Jeers to the person who stole my bike yesterday & made me cry, but you made my day. Sure, Spokane has bike thiefs, but people like you make me feel at home in this city. You know my name & my drink & always greet me with a smile. I'll be back next week for more Rogue Dead Guy & live music!

To my beautiful wife of 7 years, I love you more than you will ever know. We have faced many bumps on journey through life, but we some how come out of it stronger than before. I could not have asked for a more perfect wife, you are everything I have ever dreamt about. You have also given me two of the most beautiful children a man could ask for. You are my heart, my soul, my everything. Cheers to us.

This isn't exactly what would be expected in "I saw you" but I'm hoping you will read this anyway. I knew from the first moment I saw you at Azteca that you were someone special. We had a connection but something got in the way of that. It isn't often that you find someone that you like, enjoy spending time with, care about, feel is your friend, and have the same values about life. Please realize how special this could be. How strong we could be together & give us another chance. I love you.

Cheers to the most incredible "Lady" who made the week we spent in Cancun something that I will never forget & always cherish. The turtles, the hangin' on the beach, the rita's. I'm blessed to have you in my life & can't wait to continue to explore the world together! LRS

To the person that returned my wallet minus the cash- thank you very much for leaving it on my front doorstep. I hope you feel like you were just taking a finders fee for your effort & honesty in returning all the plastic. It would have been a more costly pain in the butt dealing with all the replacement bull I would have had to deal with from license to credit cards, gun permit, etc; would have been a nightmare & a frickin' headache. Though I really could have used the money that was in there, I'm the schmuck that lost the wallet & I'm not harboring any ill will towards you. I would have given it to you with many thanks, but having been in your position I think I would have done the same thing. Sadly, I don't know if a lot of people would be that grateful in thinking you at least deserved whatever cash was in there. Maybe that's why you just left it on the steps- I don't know, I wasn't home. But if you're ever swinging by and I am there- let me at least buy you a beer. Thanks.

A resounding "screw you" to the douchebag who was compelled to steal my mom's bike off the back of her car while she was at work on Friday. She's worked really hard for the past year to get in shape and make positive changes in her health, and that bike was her reward for having made it this far. I doubt you had much of a need for it, and even if you did, why couldn't you have started with the spoiled hipster kids who leave their bikes laying around in Browne's Addition and downtown? Enjoy.

To the person who called the police because they felt that the music playing on the patio of a Browne's Addition restaurant was too loud. Do you think that the police have nothing better to do on a Sat. night than relay a message for you that you could have just as easily called the restaurant with in the first place? I hope that if you are ever having an emergency and need the police, the line is busy with someone calling in a complaint as asinine as yours.
