Cheers to the A-Club for really being an all ages venue. I went to a hip
hop concert there because I wanted to see what message or lyrics could be
so bad as to almost get my teacher friend fired. I saw people politely
refused entrance or hauled out for too too drink, the drinking was separate
from the music area. This gramma enjoyed the people in the long (outside
cold) line, was asked politely how I happened to attend (I like hip hop and
am a political liberal/radical, kids offered me chairs, offered to buy me a
drink, did I want any water, really it was a great experience. The Blue
Scholars rhythm and message of needed social change reminded me the thrill
of listening to the Beatles and Bob Dylan "back in the day"...Thanks,
Spokane!

CD's are the worst thing to happen to the music industry. Records and
cassette tapes are truly superior formats. Death to CD's. Death to
scratched discs. And while I'm at it, death to DVD's. VHS tapes are a far
more superior format.

Jeers to the Inlander. I was reading your article about the Blues Bros. was
so disappointed when you named the wrong roll to each actor. Jake Blues was
played by John Belushi and Dan Akroyd played Elwood. Jeers.

A pre-emptive jeer to the bozos in the 4x4s, AWD's, and drivers with
dagger-toothed studded tires: slow down, obey the speed limit, and don't
try to pass just because you think you can. Not all of us are as macho as
you but we all want to get to our destinations safely. Showing a bit of
restraint will impress folks more than when you gun it from light to light
like an idiot.

To the guy on the bike on 2nd Avenue downtown. yes, I opened my car door
and got out and you almost hit me, sorry, my bad, I will give you that. But
guess what, it happens, with cars too. Open your eyes and leave a little
space, like cars do. I saw someone I know getting attacked by a bum (my ex
wife in fact) and was running to help her. But again, my fault. Here is the
jeers part...Stop running lights, ridding down the center of two lanes and
going over the speed limit. It was 5 o'clock P.M. on a Wednesday, act like
it. Same roads, same rights, same rules. And next time you yell that "I
deserve to get hit" come back and say it to my face. You are like the
little kid that rides away and scream once they are safe. Now go take off
your tights and start acting like a man. In the mean time, I am sorry, but
you are an ass.

"With kindness, the difficult becomes easy, the obscure clear; life assumes
a charm and its miseries are softened." C. Wagner. Thank you to all the
Good Samaritan/Angels who assisted my grandson and me when the South Hill
became an ice rink, last Friday evening the 18th!! We made it home finally,
thanks to your beneficence. The Christmas Spirit is certainly alive and
well! Q and his Umma

To my Charlie Brown Shirt: I love you. Even with all the back-punching and
credit-carding, you make me the happiest asshole ever. Love Me (who is not
a Charlie Brown Shirt)

Who thinks they have the right to be the person that can enter our
neighborhood parks with their car and do 'brodeys', tearing up the grass.
They just cost the tax payers $$$$ in maintenance and beauty. They should
go to a parking lot to do that. If anyone see's large amounts of fresh
grass on the side of someones car from tires spinning, shake your finger at
them.

Cheers to the nice woman in line at Walmart who paid for my groceries after
my card declined. It was very generous of you and I really appreciate it. I
will always think of what you said. Pay it forward... Thanks again.

To the two gentlemen that stopped to hold the door and carried food up the
stairs for myself and my co-worker at the Cup of Cool Water on 2nd. It was
very sweet. Thanks!
