    A course based on the culture and story of Chinese festivals, including some traditional history, and how the festivals are celebrated now. Students also do some Chinese-style practice in class including calligraphy, Chinese paper cutting and painting. Second Thursday of the month, from 7-8 pm, through April 11. 208-769-2315 x 426

    A new lecture series based on material researched for Robert Singletary’s upcoming book, “Coeur d’Alene: Beautiful and Progressive, 1878-1990.” The book and lecture series will give an overview of Coeur d’Alene’s major economic, political, social/cultural developments and some of the people that that made it happen.
