10. I Am (2010)
Critic Score: 36%
Audience Score: 80%
A personal documentary from comedy director Tom Shadyac, who left Hollywood following a bicycle accident and became dedicated to environmental causes. In the film, he speaks with the likes of Noam Chomsky and Desmond Tutu about the state of the world, which appears to have moved and inspired the handful of Rotten Tomatoes users who have reviewed it. Critics, though, dismissed it as a well-meaning but simpleminded advocacy doc, with the New York Times accusing Shadyac of "[papering] over contradictions" and being "platitudinous."
