Spokane Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick seems to be staying put, as a search committee looking to find Seattle's next police chief cut her from a list of finalists, AP reports.
Kirkpatrick recently told The Inlander that if she didn't get the Seattle post, she planned to remain in the Lilac City, perhaps until she retires.
The chief has been in the news lately because of her pursuit of the Seattle job as well as a union vote indicating a lack of confidence in her leadership here.
