He is better known for his statewide initiatives seeking to restrict the ability of government to impose taxes, but Tim Eyman is also scoring a victory in his home town of Mukilteo.
Mukilteo Prop 1 is a measure that is, essentially, a photo-red camera killer. A city can still install the devices, as Mukilteo is proposing, but the ballot measure strictly limits the amount of the fine to $20 instead of $124 and adds layers of complication that makes it less likely that a city would want to jump through the hoops.
