Spotted this on the wall of the Spokesman-Review's production facility this afternoon, across Monroe Street from the red tower. All of the other busts of all of Spokane's other founding fathers looked warm and toasty, but not so poor Peter Barrow (pastor, entrepreneur, publisher, 1840-1906), who was even icier yesterday (see right).
(We feel the old man's pain. Barrow's icy visage actually resembles what the faces of many Inlander staffers looked like this week, after the boiler room at our office gave up the ghost, allowing temperatures to plummet into the frigid 50s.)
Gota weird photo from around town? Send it to joels[at]inlander[dot]com, along with your name and when, where and what the hell is going on inthe picture. (The Inlander reserves the right to re-publish submitted photos on the web or in the newspaper.)
