While out celebrating a friend's birthday 12/27 at one of my favorite corner diners to eat breakfast, I playfully suggested you smile. You then intern freaked out and rudely complained how you were burdened with taking care of all the customers, which by the way were quite scarce. Customer service and a positive attitude are key in your line of work. If you hate your job so much why don't you quit and find a new one.
