Shame On You

Posted on Sat, Apr 7, 2012 at 8:23 AM

To a certain Spokane Valley man who sold me his truck, with a rebuilt
engine, but who didn't tell me the transmission was bad. Even after I told
him how last April I was scammed by a dealership, and that I had saved
every penny of my student loans for a truck to get to and from work. How
could you take my money knowing full well that you were scamming a poor
student so you could get the money you'd lost in the truck. You claim you
didn't know the tranny was bad, but tell me, who puts that much money into
putting in a rebuilt engine, and what kind of mechanic would put it in,
without seeing if the tranny was bad as well? Perhaps you didn't know, but
more than likely you did. I was on my way out of town when the tranny gave
out and left me stranded on the highway and having to fork out even more
money to have it towed home, ruining my last weekend with my mom before she
moved states away. I basically threw away good money that wasn't even my
own to throw away. I could always do the same you did to get my money back,
but I am a person of integrity, and don't wish to put someone else in the
position I am constantly in with others.
