Speechless

Posted on Sat, May 19, 2012 at 8:23 AM

Too stunned to feel awkward. You, behind that counter, me, leaning forward.
If it wasn't for your smile and all it means, I'd leave. If it wasn't for
my fear, I'd sweep you off your feet again. I'd leave nothing to anyone's
imagination. I'd leave nothing for you to doubt. But fear is not conquered
in a night, and patience is a virtue, so I'll keep leaning, and maybe if
I'm deserving, I'll get to love you.
