Bloglander

Two hill climbs up highway 195, the last one bending away to the sky, and
on top, among the greening fields that burst with pulses of wind-waves, I
make the turn on to Paradise Road and enter another world. The road rises,
somehow knowing that soon I will see my heart's treasure and I pick up
speed, moving with the wind that flows down the back of this rolling wave
of wheat field. My tires sing, and my heart pounds in my chest because it
won't be long now before I see your face again.
