Cemetery Thieves

Posted on Sat, Aug 11, 2012 at 8:23 AM

To the person/people that keep stealing from my sister's grave at Holy
Cross Cemetery. It was bad enough that three of her Birthday Balloons were
taken, but to keep taking is truly sick and unforgivable. You see the
cemetery is not for the dead, but the living. Pansies were her favorite
flower, they must have been yours too, that is why you had to have the
beautiful pot of pansies that I put there for her Birthday. Purple was her
favorite color, it must have been yours too, since you took the purple
Mosaic water globe. Butterflies became my symbol for her, you must like
butterflies since you took the butterfly stained glass yard stake that was
in her flower pot. I hope you see this and I hope you realize that you are
hurting all of us deeply. You have stolen from a grieving mother
(hummingbird yard stake), a grieving daughter (resin garden stone that was
placed on mothers day), 6 grieving sisters (Balloons, pansies, and mosaic
water globe) and grieving nieces (butterfly). You see, my sweet sister was
too young to die and we try to make her space beautiful as it gives us
comfort. Next time you swing by, think about all the people you are hurting
for your own twisted benefit. How would you feel if that was your Mother,
Your Aunt, Your Daughter, or Your Sister. You have not discouraged me, I
will still continue to decorate her grave, but you better start praying
because Lord help you if I ever meet you face to face.
