In regards to the EWU library renovation. Given that most of the outlets in
the cubicles didn't work I'll admit something had to be done. However, the
openness of the tables has turned the library into what should be quiet
studying time into a place for loud social gatherings. Tutors, study
groups, and social cliches flock to the tables overwhelming the building
with annoying chatter. I can't believe my tuition is on the rise because
you can't just replace old outlets. You have to spend large amounts of
money to change everything. I quite enjoyed the closed secrecy of the
little cubicles making them excellent for personal study time. Which is
what the library should be for.
