Movie Goers

You and your group, three boys and a girl, all I assume teenagers, were
sitting behind me, my brother, and my neighbor at the 9:55 PM showing at
Riverpark Square and you were all talking. I did my best to ignore it
during most of the movie. However, about halfway through, I could bear it
no longer and decided to say something. I took a few minutes to decide what
to say, I didn't want to be rude or offensive, just something polite and
short. Finally, as politely as I could, asked "Could you stop talking
please?" to which the girl immediately responded with a string of
obscenities, followed by the boys saying similar things and one
saying "We'll see you after the show." My brother chuckled. We watched the
rest of the show in relative peace, you actually did quiet down a bit.
After the show, we were all in the upstairs lobby, Me and my neighbor
sitting on the bench opposite the "up" escalator. Your boys acted as if you
were trying to come over, but you let the girl "pull you away." You called
us "boys" even though we are likely more than five years or more older than
you. You proceeded to shout out obscenities and empty threats as you went
down the escalator, then my brother flipped you off, which increased the
screeching. Luckily we did not see you again. I guess I learned my lesson.
The next time someone politely asks me something, I should tell them put it
where the sun doesn't shine then threaten them. Thanks for showing me the
light...idiots.
