To the female driver of the silver car (I believe it was an Audi) parked on
Division, waiting in line for Starbucks on Tuesday morning. I want to
extend a sincere apology to you. I was out of line in how I acted. I should
have taken the high road with our interaction but that simply was not the
case that morning. I am torn apart inside with how I yelled expletives at
you and honked at you. You said, "People do this all the time!" You are
very right; people do that all the time even though blocking traffic is
unlawful. Despite that fact my actions toward you were inappropriate,
unwarranted and inexcusable. That was the first time I've ever done
anything like that in public and it definitely was the last. I can
definitely say I'm embarrassed and ashamed for my actions. Please accept my
sincere apology. If there was an easy way to do it, I would gladly buy your
next cup of coffee to make up for my poor decision.
