LONGHORN BBQ

It's been five years since we asked about Best Barbecue, but readers' opinions about the best haven't wavered: With two locations in Airway Heights and the Valley, it's evident that Longhorn BBQ is an Inland Northwest institution. Its roots lie in Texas, where the five Lehnertz brothers started serving up barbecue in 1946 before making their way to the Northwest. These days it's known for the rustic atmosphere, and of course the signature barbecue sauce. (LW)
