James Pants in space

Posted By on Mon, Apr 12, 2010 at 9:58 AM

James Pants went galactic today.

The new video (below) for his single, "Thin Moon," begins by zooming in on a gorgeous, starchild-shaped nebula. The camera then cuts to James dancing whilst traveling at warp speeds. It's a little blurry (you try keeping a camera focused at Warp Nine, jerks) so we can't be totally sure it's James, but the person is doing a pretty good rendition of his lounge shuffle.

This news is so fresh, ladies and gentleman, that the vid ain't even been posted to his MySpace yet.

Other features of the video include: Pants taking a nap, Muppets making out with each other, and a ballerina dancing in a celestial cloud while a thousand little James Pants heads rain down on top of her.

The last thing we'll mention — as was astutely pointed out by YouTube user jukenstein — is that we get our first glimpse here of Pants' aura. It's orange, a color that denotes "Creativity, Productivity, Pleasure, Optimism, Enthusiasm, [and] Emotional Expression," according to newagewizard.com

Judging by the tears at the corners of our eyes after watching -- and the feeling that we'd just gotten a karmic back rub -- we'd say the wizard is pretty much right on.
