Those wondering if Spokane has become part of the cannabis industry should wonder no more. The city is on WeedMaps.com, a social networking site that allows users to find and review medical marijuana dispensaries. 

Spokane's page has 20 dispensaries, including the THC Pharmacy, the Greenhouse and the Wellness Medicine Collective.

Meds 2 You, according to the site, not only delivers pot varietals such as Afgan Kush, Permafrost and Buddha Cheese but also reefer-infused edibles like Canna Fudge Brownie and Kickerdoodle. The reviews for this dispensary are all positive.

"Good sticky meds, prompt service, nice people," wrote one user, called Leaf Provider.

While the website can be criticized as being cartoonish and flip, lawmakers in Olympia are taking the recent proliferation of dispensaries very seriously. Legislation is edging toward a vote in the Senate could codify dispensaries, creating regulations for the industry. Currently, dispensaries operate without any explicit protection by state law.

But now with WeedMaps, people who have doctors' recommendations for marijuana can "find [their] bud," as the site declares.
