BANDS TO WATCH: Horse Thieves

Posted By on Thu, May 19, 2011 at 10:41 AM

Next Thursday, May 26, we'll host Volume: The Inlander's Local Music Extravaganza, featuring our five Bands to Watch, which you can read about in today's Local Music Issue: Horse Thieves, Silver Treason, Whiskey Dick Mountain, Ocean and K. Clifton. The show is FREE. It's all-ages.

To celebrate and honor each of the band we chose, we made a video for each of them. Today's video features Horse Thieves, a project that brings together the songwriting chops of local singer/keyboardist Fawn Dasovich, singer/guitarist Marshall McLean, and two members from Black Apache (who we wrote about here, when they were the Black Taxis), Adam and Jordan Miller. They write soaring, harmonic myths and tales about feeling like outlaws, among other things.

Check out this video, and our story on them here

And on the Volume front: If you missed it last year, go here to see a little of the insanity. And we assure you, this year will be totally over the top.
