Mitt Romney grew up in Michigan, where his dad was a popular governor. He helmed the Olympics in Salt Lake City. He was the governor of Massachusetts. He lived in France for a couple of years.
The guy's been everywhere, so it's no surprise that he has a connection to Spokane.
According an article in the Herald, out of Everett, Wash., Mitt's cousin, Rick Romney, grew up in Spokane and attended Ferris High School.
Rick was in Spokane in 2007 for his 35th high school reunion, says the article, which was written by a woman who was a classmate of his. And she hopes he'll be back in town this summer, for the 40th reunion. By that time, his famous cousin's horns should be locked with Obama's.
I guess we'll have to chase Rick down then, and see what he has to say.
