Fringe is a lot more popular in Portland than in Spokane

Apparently, Spokane residents aren't very big fans of the low-rated two-universe sci-fi procedural Fringe (which returns tonight) according to this map, a rare look into TV ratings broken down by market. Spokane's ratings for Fringe scored an 87, meaning that it's only 87 percent as popular as the national average.

But in Portland? It's a 142, substantially higher than the national average. Now, it's harder to draw conclusions from that. Maybe Portland has a higher nerd-per-capita rating than Spokane? Because the rest of the country doesn't have a clear urban/rural correlation.

Now, if only they could do the same for Portlandia...
