FRIDAY

Carr’s Corner is about to get loud Friday. Super loud! For those with sensitive eardrums be sure to pack earplugs for the Lord Dying,Dislich, Losing Skin and Hooves show. Starts at 8 pm with a $7 cover.

SATURDAY

Anything that stands the passing of an entire century deserves some respect. Spokane’s own Hoffman Music Co., sellers of instruments, sheet music and DJ equipment, is celebrating this milestone Saturday with friends, family and, most importantly, people who appreciate and make music. With one stage in the parking lot and another inside in the Acoustic Room, theevent features locals acts like Robert Vaughn, Trailer Park Girls, Acuff and Sherfey, and Terrible Buttons along with a performance by the Mt. Spokane HighSchool marching band at 11 am. The day will also include a raffle drawing and clinicians and it’s free. Here’s to another 100.

Sandpoint shouldn’t be the only lakeside Idaho town with a successful music festival, or at least that’s the thinking behind the Coeur d’Alene Music Festival. That event won’t take place until next September, but in the meantime the festival committee is holding a fundraiser for what is to come. On Saturday, 12 local bands, including B Radicals, Tanner Azzinnaro, Moksha and Angela Marie Project, will play all day long beginning at 10 am in the name of spreading the word. Half of the proceeds will go to Coeur d’Alene School District 271's arts programs while the other half will go directly to funding the 2014 event. A beer garden, which features CdA’s own Trickster Brewing, will also be onsite. The all-ages event has a suggested donation of$5.

More Saturday music

Pain in the Grass Tour Day 2 feat. Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Coheed and Cambria and more at the Gorge Amphitheatre.

BIG FINALE

Every now and then we at The Inlander get so caught up in the ridiculousness of certain Internetmusic videos we just can’t stop watching. In case you ever wanted to know "what the fox say"... happy Friday!
