Last Friday evening, aspiring entrepreneurs gathered at the McKinstry Innovation Center to pitch their ideas and form collaborative teams. After working all weekend to develop an MVP (Minimum Viable Product), the teams presented their prototypes to a panel of local investors and entrepreneurs.
A number of previous Startup Weekend winners have gone on to become real companies. So keep an eye out for this weekend's winners:
• Rebooked, a notification app to promote openings from cancellations
• Obloco, a management system for paperless receipts
• Forge Ahead, an organizer of competitions connecting engineering students with the business world
