26 years ago, you were brought into this world in the arms of the most beautiful family I have ever known. One year ago on this day, my heart pounded when your eyes glanced in my general direction with the off chance you might talk to me. I would go to the Empyrean just to see you and hope to gain your attention. Now, I roll over in the morning in total disbelief that this St. Pattie's baby has chosen to be with me.
