To My Jenny

Posted on Sat, Nov 5, 2011 at 8:23 AM

I saw you from across a local pizza parking lot some time ago and I never
saw my life the same way again, for I saw the woman of my dreams. I saw
road tripping adventures and secret, passionate embraces. I saw support and
guidance through the dark tunnels and I saw as far as the eye can see from
atop the highest peaks. I saw you on the back of my motorcycle, and I saw
you riding ahead of me on your bicycle. I saw through the many tears and
past the useless fears to I see a family down the road and grandchildren
soon thereafter. I love seeing you when you don't see me, and trying to
recall what life was like without you. I can't. To this and many more,
Happy Anniversary.
