Jesus/God - Thank you for caring so much about everyone in the world that
you continue to reach out to us and work to reconcile us, both with you and
with each other. Thank you for showing us that your ways are not our ways
- that you don't hold yourself higher than others (even though you would
have the right), that you forgive far more than we can ever do alone (which
is not the same as removing consequences), that you work with those who are
far from perfect and repeatedly miss the mark in what you call them to do,
that you offer hope to everyone - even the one on the cross beside you who
deserved to die. Thank you from one of your children (because you loved
me, not because I could ever deserve it).
