Cheers to the nice young couple who decided to pay it forward by buying the
widowed older man's dinner at the restaurant I work at the other day. Your
anonymous generosity and thoughtfulness brought a smile to the man's face
like I hadn't seen before! Not only did you treat him, but then proceeded
to over-tip our staff. The world needs more selfless people like you. When
I explained the concept of "pay it forward" to the man by saying, "someone
did something nice for the people who bought you lunch, so now they're
returning the favor by doing something nice. I truly felt like by working
that day I was a part of something really great and it was all inspired by
you buying an old man lunch. Thank you for making his day and the day of
everyone who was working that day! May fortune always smile its face upon
you and yours!
