Jeers to people who turned out for the Dirty Dash in beautiful Riverside
State Park on Saturday and proceeded to leave their filthy shoes, socks,
and clothing all along the state park roads, the highway, and even in
church and college parking lots. You had the opportunity to donate your
shoes to charity and chose to litter with them instead. Act like a pig on
the course if you like, but please don't make a mess for others to deal
with. I was embarrassed for the Spokane community when I saw the amount of
clothing that was left like this.
