Jeers To You

Posted on Sat, Oct 13, 2012 at 8:23 AM

You are the driver in a rush on Monday around 1:45 to pick up those
paperclips at Office Depot on Division. May I just say: how dare you. You
couldn't wait another five seconds for me to finish crossing the drive
through. I'm just going to remind you that the drive in area is first a
sidewalk for us pedestrians. It dips down for you to drive in, but no. You
were in such a rush, you even ran over half the curb!! I must say that of
all the safety regulations Spokane drivers disregard, pedestrian right of
way should be of utmost importance. Here I am a tired college student
walking to the bus stop, saving money and what Washington strives the
hardest to protect --the environment-- and here you are driving your
over-sized car making a quick trip to the cheapest store near you for
paperclips. I hope they were worth the gas money, the close run, and the
guilty conscious you should have.
