Jeers to the fan that believes they need city recognition via the mayor. You are not the #1 team in the U.S. Division. Portland currently carries that title & Tri-cities is nipping at your heels. You have played more games & still have to wait 'till the others catch up in game play. This season is not over so don't count your eggs before they hatch. As of now, you look like the Tri-city Americans team of 07-08. Ironically enough your coach is an American. Truly Yours, Spokane's #1 AMS fan! Lets Go AMS!

My friends & I have been supporting your business for at least 3 years. As a matter of fact we are daily customers. The workers there are quite friendly & I love them but I guess you could say there is a bad apple. When I spend five dollars on one drink I think that that drink should come with a free smile. My drink should be the correct temperature & taste good. Tips are not an entitlement & if you would like a tip, then your service should grant one. I love your coffee stand for the most part, but it should be a pleasurable experience & make you want to come back. So stop glaring at me, stop changing the price on my drink, make my drink correctly & get some customer service skills. Then maybe I will consider leaving you a tip! If you value your customers show them by being kind & friendly. No one is forcing you to stay employed, if you're that miserable, find something that you enjoy doing!

Well, congratulations, you confirmed one thing with your little written tirade, and it isn't that you're the victim & deserve sympathy. It's that if your partner was struggling with whether or not to let you go, he/she should be sure now if they happened to read that. You've labeled this person a liar when you need to learn there is a difference between loving someone & being compatible with someone. Both have to be present to maintain a healthy relationship. The sooner you give some serious thought to this & come to terms with your own responsibility, the sooner you will be able to heal & try again with someone else that is hopefully more compatible. Sometimes that takes time to figure out. Love is not enough. So your partner beat you to the punch & you found yourself in the dumped role rather than the dump-ee. That certainly sucks, but you were a full half of the equation. You are not doing yourself any justice, & I'm sorry, but I for one am not convinced your partner was the evil villian you have made him/her out to be. I feel bad for your former partner, but somehow, I think that person is glad you are gone. I would be.

You assholes. Show some dignity, respect & courtesy towards your fellow human beings. Just because someone is serving your food, or ringing up your groceries does not mean you have license to verbally abuse them. Does it make you feel more powerful to attack someone who is literally helpless to do anything to stop you? Are you so starved for attention, respect or a sense of power that you have to pick on the one group of people that cannot fight back? Grow a pair, pick a fight with someone who's not on the clock.

Jeers the Post Office that has stopped delivering all the mail on our north Spokane street. I understand that two blocks down a dog barked at a mailman & that they were scared that they might get bitten, but to stop delivering the mail to a whole neighborhood is not the best way to handle this. Instead of just suspending the mail without notice to an entire neighborhood, why don't you contact Spokanimal or better yet mace the dog. Good thing the garbagemen are not such babies.

Jeers to the clothing store for your customer service. Wait.. There was none! After spending a good amount of time in your store with no one to greet, assist, or even acknowledge our presence, we left furious with no purchases. Your lack of acknowledgment & kindness lost our business & who knows how many others? Maybe a more friendly staff would benefit your business!

OK, look, I'm not much of a reader & to tell you the truth, I only pickup the Inlander every Thursday to read my Horoscope - that's it. So, on 1-29 I was sitting on the toilet & just happen to be reading the I Saw You section, read your Jeers to Jeers and honestly, I laughed. You are aware that you don't have to read the Inlander in its entirety right? That you have the choice to put it down at any time, right? If you are so disgusted by what people have to say, then don't read it. You are the one making the choice to read each comment, opinion, or story which is leading to your manifested disgust. Most people I'm sure just want entertainment that is out of the ordinary, things that you don't usually see on TV or read about elsewhere. Why do you care so much about what people get off on anyway? You should spend your time more wisely & save your energy for the positive 'cause your wasting it on the negative. Have the best day ever! P.S. Embrace the Cheers and the Jeers. You can't have one without the other.

The northside Swinging Doors has brats on special for $3.96 a dog. The Wisconsin beer cheese soup is flowing for $2.50 a cup and $3.50 a bowl. Ambitious guests can order a two-foot hot dog for $12.95. Slurp it all down with a 32-ounce Coors Light for $4.95. Pitchers of Bud and Bud Light are a dollar off. Combine that with more than 60 TVs, all of which are big and very visible, and you've got yourself a very fulfilling Super Bowl XLV experience. Get there early to save a space for the 3:30 pm kick-off.

At the Game in Spokane's downtown, pitchers of Bud Light and Coors Light go for $8. Get 20 wings and a domestic pitcher for $20.

Litz's has a buffet and a drawing for prizes.

Coeur d'Alene Capone's is offering $3 pints of Shock Top, $3.50 shots of Cuervo. On special is the Pittsburger with cheese-bread soup.

On the outside the Brass Faucet looks just like an ordinary bar. Inside, TVs abound and dire sports fans sit and stare. A great and quiet neighborhood place to watch the game.

In Liberty Lake make your football stop at True Legends. They're giving away all kinds of stuff including a snowboard, a sled and ski passes, and they're serving Bloody Marys for $4 and domestic pitchers for $7.50.

Other places known for their abundance of TVs include Players & Spectators in the Spokane Valley, Hugo's on the Hill on the South Hill and the Q, at Northern Quest Casino. (Go to any of these places and you can even gamble during halftime.)

Just a reminder that today and tomorrow are the last two days of the Spokane Boat Show, which has been going on since last Saturday at the Spokane County Fair & Expo Center. There are a ton of fancy boats there (if you're into that kind of thing), including this byoot, which Inlander intern Loretta Surma pictured for us at the show last weekend.

More info at the Spokane Boat Show website.
