Fools and fireworks
A 15-year-old boy from Vancouver, Washington, is suspected of
tossing a lit firework into Oregon's tinder-dry Eagle Creek Canyon over the weekend, starting the
Eagle Creek Fire, which jumped the Columbia River Gorge on Monday and is forcing evacuations in Skamania County, Washington. The 10,000-plus-acre fire has not been contained. (
